GRACIAS!
For the last 4 years, we’ve been working on COMBATE, a documentary tracking the very complex story of Chavismo - a saga of corruption, violence, and manipulation that has torn apart and devastated Venezuela. Now we're working on the last and most critical chapter: The duel between the millions of Venezuelans who voted for a radical change, lead by Maria Corina Machado and her millions of followers, against the violent dictatorship of the defeated Nicolas Maduro.
We are following these courageous fighters in their titanic efforts to instaure democracy in our homeland, “Until the End” as Maria Corina proclaims in her popular rallies.
But How can there be a peaceful transition to democracy when the legitimate leaders, chosen by the people, are forced into hiding because constant threats of jail and assassination?
How can thousands of unarmed citizens go out to express their discontent when they know they will be facing the guns that have already killed thousands?
Will the Armed Forces, controlled by the criminal junta, finally choose to support the democratic process, which is the last real hope for change?
Will the Trump administration’s new threats force the capos to give up control of a system that gives them access to the wealth the’ve stolen and protection from the countless crimes they have committed?
Let's be clear: this is more than just a local conflict. The Venezuelan crisis is a global humanitarian emergency, rivaling the conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza. It has triggered the largest exodus in the Americas, reshaping the entire geopolitical landscape. Yet, it's not sufficiently discussed or understood in the global conversation.
We believe documentaries have the power to move people through a combination of emotion and analysis. By showing the raw, unfiltered social reality, we can help the cosmopolitan public understand what's at stake in a deeply felt and moving manner.
This isn't about left or right - it's about human rights, democracy, and the future of an entire nation.
We're so close to completing COMBATE. International distributors are eager to bring this powerful story to global audiences. But we need your help to cross the finish line. All we're asking at this point is for you to stay connected - subscribe to our newsletter through which we will keep you informed of the latest events and ways to join us in the battle.
For over 25 years, Venezuelans have endured unimaginable hardship - violence, poverty, hunger, and systematic repression. They've protested, they've fled, they've been killed and tortured. Now it's our turn to amplify their voices. Please help us create awareness about this devastating humanitarian crisis. Every voice, every share, every moment of attention can make a difference. Help us tell the story that the world needs to see and hear.
